Our Big December Snow Storm

Panda or Puppy?

Rumor has leaked out and yes, it's true.... we got an Old English Sheep Dog!

She thinks that Malakai is one of her puppy brothers and loves to puppy wrestle with him. Malakai loves it, too!

All the kids love their new dog. We are still trying to pick a name. Katelyn wanted Raindrop, Ryan wanted LuLu, Matt came up with Nala and Lucky and I am undecided. Let us know which one you like!

Malakai turns 1!

What has happened to my baby?!? Zug is so big now, walking and climbing! He had a great birthday, and he dug into his cake like a pro (too bad I don't have a picture of it!) and he loved his new big fire truck! We love Lakai so much! ( we have too many nicknames for him)

Halloween

The kids had been looking forward to Halloween for a long time and it finally came. Katelyn wanted to be Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, so we hunted down a costume. Ryan was Darth Vader and Mkai was a froggie. He kicked and screamed when we put him in his costume and tried to hide his face like he was embarrassed. He eventually snapped out of it and decided that it was okay when he got to taste the candy. He had a total sugar high, It was hilarious!

My first half marathon!!!

So, those of you that saw me run cross country probably can't believe that I ran a 13.1 mile race... and I really can't believe it either. I was definately not a good runner back then, but I have surprised myself lately. I ran the race in 2 hours and 2 minutes. It was a really hilly race with one hill being over a mile long. Me and Kim stuck together though and ran our best. I got 6th place out of my age group! It was such a fun day and the drizzling rain just made it more exciting. We ran through the farmland of Greenbluff. It was gorgeous! It was nice to see Matt's proud face at the finish line! After having kids and this I feel like I can do anything!

Enjoying the last days of Summer 9-13

It was a gorgeous day, so our family took a bike ride downtown on the centennial trail. We played at Fort Sherman then played at the lake. It was great!
